Simple Science: Breaking the Sound Barrier

Breaking the sound barrier is what happens when an object moves faster than sound and makes a sonic boom. A bullwhip is just such an object. One of the performers the library hired this summer was The Whip Guy.

In addition to giving a brief history of the whip, he also dazzled the crowd with injury-defying feats like snapping the buds off these flowers.

I found it very interesting and fun. Bobo? Not so much.

He had more fun playing with A!

Linking up with Simple Science Sunday.

  1. Hey Miss C, popped over to see if you had a post about your Crayola photo software, would love to know more about it.
Goblin would also have been playing in the park rather than paying any attention to the whip man.

    1. It's called the Story Studio. It's online through Crayola.com and you add a code that comes in many products. We got a code through a suitcase art kit, I have no idea what it's called. I see they have a Spider-Man/comic book one available now.
